Hello everybody!

It's been a while! But life has been very busy at the moment!

Sam's eye is completely better, the vet checked it out a couple of days ago (he was there to look at Ted's feet) and said we did exactly the right thing so yay.

Today I did some jumping with Sam and I think he's finally cracked it! Or rather we both have! Yay! He only knocked it a few times rather than only leaving it up a few times which is such an improvement!

He now knows that jump up = good, jump down = bad and even if he gets his striding wrong he sometimes still manages to clear it! He put in so much effort today!

Sooo, this probably goes for most people but I do not just use the internets for horsey endeavors. My friend Chiara and I also vlog on youtube. So Sam's eye is almost completely normal now! Hurrah! :D

And today, we decided that riding in a bridle was just too boring. So we rode in a Dually halter instead. And cantered. And jumped.

I saw Sam yesterday and his eye was MUCH better. Even good enough that I had a quick ride on him. He wasn't spooky at all and actually opened the eye much more after he'd been worked.
I didn't see him today but apparently it has gotten a bit better again so hopefully it's crisis over. Hooray!

So today was supposed to be lovely. I was going to get to ride Sam to the golf course and it was going to be a ton of fun.

Instead, we get to the field and after a bit I notice that Sam's right eye is swollen shut.

He's been kicked in the head.

He was behaving completely normally and the cut is on the rim of his upper eye-lid, we don't know if there is damage to the eye or not. He does open it a bit when something interesting is happening and the eye didn't look abnormal at all but sometimes the lower rim looked red in colour. I've never seen anything like this before so I don't know how bad it is. His eye was also very weepy but that's understandable.

The eye got worse while we were there and by the time we said goodbye looked quite worrying. If it's no better by tomorrow we're calling the vet out.

I'm really really worrying about it because there's a horse at our field with one eye and the reason? She got kicked in the head. :(

He also keeps itching it which 1) hopefully means it isn't too painful and he wasn't sensitive about me running my hand over it but 2) means that he is probably making it worse. Silly boy.

Well! Summer holidays are finally here so hopefully I'll be able to post more regularly! Yay!

Also, I've visited Sam twice in the past month and a half because of exams etc which sucks but now I can go and visit/ride him whenever I want which is amazing! Summer's going to be good :)

Well hey everyone. Sorry if I haven't commented on posts etc but from Wednesday - Friday I was at my friend's house, leaving in the morning, traveling to venues in London and waiting there all day, going to shows and then waiting afterward to meet bands and then going back to my friend's house to sleep for a few hours and then doing the same thing all over again haha.

Just gotta say HOLY CRAP WHAT AN AMAZING 3 DAYS/NIGHTS!

So damn good. I will hopefully be posting some pictures my friend took later today.

We got to meet almost everyone from all the bands and they were all ridiculously lovely. I love that every time I've met someone I look up to or expect to be wonderful they have been :D

If anyone wants more details just tell me in the comments, I don't have time to type out everything that happened today as I've got to revise for 3 exams, 2 of which are on Monday and the other one is on Tuesday. I am SO SCREWED but it was worth it :D

Also, I managed to give my band's demo to We The Kings and Cobra Starship so that's pretty sweet :D

So last Sunday I went to Royal Windsor Horse Show.

It was a great day out despite rain and my camera batteries dying half way through even though I charged them all night erg.

Oh and my psychology exam yesterday went really well so hopefully that means I'll get a good grade this time. *fingers crossed*

After the exam me and two of my friends went to Starbucks to study for our exam tomorrow and then we all went with another one of my friends to see Star Trek.

SO AWESOME! Seriously, I'm a Star Wars fan but this was so amazing.
And I never thought I'd be attracted to a Vulcan before but...Zachary Quinto requires OMNOMNOMNOM so whatchagonnado?

I'm looking at Unis at the moment and so far my favourite is Aberystwyth in Wales :)
I want to do an equine studies course and the one they have sounds awesome, it's a prestigious Uni even though equine studies isn't an academic subject so it should look good on my CV haha.

I've got a psychology exam tomorrow ugh, it's a re-sit and...i probably haven't done enough revision :(

6TH FORM COLLEGE IS NOT MY THING! Arrrrgh.

Oh well, hopefully I'll get a better grade than last time...

So today I had to e-mail some ticket distributing people to tell them I would not be using the free tickets I'd applied for because I was ill and jokingly added that I didn't want to give the rest of the audience etc swine flu.

Throughout the day myself and the...main...e-mail...back...er...guy...Martin, continued to e-mail back and forth terrible swine flu jokes/puns.

Good times.

Now when I go to see a show next Friday, held by the same company, I've told their people that I will think of a new swine line and will say it to the person giving out the wrist bands which allow you into the event, without explanation. Hopefully said person will be in on the joke and will have something to answer me with or will at least have a giggle with me about a supposedly catastrophic pandemic. Yay.

For most of the evening I've been sat chatting to some Ozzy friends who are both lovelylovelylovely. It's nice to be socialising after being stuck inside by myself for most of the week.

I'M STILL ILL WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH THIS!?

Last night I honestly thought I'd be in school today...mannnnn. I don't want to be in school but I want to see my friends. *sadface*

Last night was also the first night all week that I had anyone to chat with online and when I went to bed I was all hyper because I had that much fun. B'awwww I'm a loserrrrrr.

My nose is red raw from blowing it every minute for the past three days. OW.

Also, I've been playing Pokemon a lot lately, mainly on Pokemon Indigo (online) but recently started a new game on my Game Boy Colour (ollll' skoool) and now three of my friends have also picked up their Game Boys and started games. Haha, my obsessions are infectious.

I should be re-doing some English coursework but I'm ILL so that can go away. *procrastinates*

I think I might do some more drawings and scan em up, then post them so no-one can look at them woooo!

Monday was a very very very goooooood day!

I rode Sam to Richmond Park with my friend Annette who rode her horse Max.

It was only my second time riding to the park and it was Sam's FIRST time without Ted.
To get the relationship between Ted and Sam I shall tell you this:
Ever since Sam started being ridden he has learned from Ted. He learned how to canter under-saddle by following Ted's example. He learned road safety by following Ted's example. He learned that not everything is going to kill you by following Ted's example. The list goes on. Ted is also his best friend in the history of ever.

Recently Ted has had to be retired and so in the past year Sam has had to do a lot of growing up.

We can now hack out alone without too many problems but have only been doing local rides to stay safe.

But May Day called for a change.

Oh and I've been ill since Tuesday which has sucked. I think I have swine flu. No-one believes me. /jks [about swine flu, I am actually ill for realz.]

I've got some Gorillaz OCs that I've had running round in my head for years but I never did anything with them (besides Tazar who I've mentioned in earlier posts). This past week inspiration has struck but I've only had a couple of chances to do anything about it.

I've doodled ideas for them on paper but really wanted to get them drawn up on my tablet. Thing is, I haven't really got the hang of it yet so getting the shapes etc right takes me AGES and then the line art and colouring takes me just as long and looks terrible when I'm done ARGH.

Think I'm gonna stick to traditional media for a bit to get their designs as solid as possible, experimenting on Corel takes too much time.

I've just got to keep my head above water with my school work and everything should be fine.

The wait is finally over. My parents have caved.

I got my shitty AS results on Friday but they know I've been working harder and not going out as often so they think that getting out to exercise once a week will be good for me.

Riding once a week. It's not what I used to have but it's better than what I've been getting the past few months.

YAY.

Unfortunately I also have bad news. Vicky has had to retire Ted.
After months of careful recuperation and crazy vet bills, he is officially un-rideable.
